Manuel Almunia was very close to winning the award this month until his performance in Octobers final match against Tottenham reminded us he isnt that world class keeper a team like ours should have. Gael also nearly threw it away but someone has to take the award so bar that slip to allow Jenas in to make it 4-3 Clichy had a consistent month and mauraded the left hand side, often playing left midfield and left back as Nasri drifted infield.
